Leverage Agile Principles to Manage Project Risks & Uncertainties

Risks and uncertainties are inherent in numerous business practices, processes and decisions. Rapid growth of global markets is forcing organizations to become more proactive and responsive to risks and uncertainties. Effective risk management is a critical success factor. Proficiency in these skills is a prerequisite for business analysts and project managers to lead change and growth at all levels.

This interactive workshop will illustrate how successful and effective implementation of risk management employs specific skills that can leverage agile principles from Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Disciplined Agile, XP and other agile frameworks. The discussion will articulate to the participants how invaluable agile practices can be in managing risks and uncertainties with the help of quality control tools.

Practical insights from previous and current projects, along with key underlying competencies of project leadership and management, will be covered.

About the Speaker
 
Dr. Hasnain Rizvi has in-depth formal project, program, portfolio management and governance experience. He has managed mission critical complex programs and projects for Global 2000 clients. His most recent engagements have focused on Agile Transformation and Coaching.
 
Hasnain is an adjunct instructor and trainer with several universities and organizations, including The University of California Irvine, The University of British Columbia, SAIT Polytechnic, University of La Verne, The University of California Riverside and Leoron Professional Development Institute. Hasnain is a Senior Agile, Technology and Education Executive; he has trained and mentored over 25,000 professionals globally. He is a judge for ASQ®, British Computer Society Fellowship Assessor, and a Judge at the annual International Business Excellence Awards in Dubai. He was also an IIBA Enhanced Certification Level - 1 Exam Global Committee Reviewer.

Hasnain has a Doctorate in Project and Program Management from SKEMA Business School in France. Hasnain is an acclaimed professional speaker and, along with customized executive coaching, provides Project Management, Agile and Business Analysis related certification track coaching and training. He has spoken at professional events in North America, Europe, The Middle East and China.
