6:00pm to 8:00pm

Speaker: Rhea Bhere

Rhea Bhere is a problem-solver with extensive experience in business analysis, agile coaching and project management. She has been part of teams at industry leaders like M&T Bank, Group Health Cooperative, Microsoft, Slalom, and Boeing. Rhea thrives on challenging work and savors helping organizations build better solutions. She is committed to continuous learning, understanding people, and adopting best practices in order to meet the demands of any situation.

This has allowed her to be flexible, adaptable, and creative to ensure delivery of the solution to the problem. Rhea believes in getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work by building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.

Event Details:
You’ve probably heard of Agile and/or Scrum. Scrum is used extensively in product development, yet few are trained in it and many struggle along with misinformed ideas. Everyone from executives to analysts to developers are now expected to know how to run Agile projects and build products using Scrum. We’ll explore the Scrum roles and ceremonies as well as look at the most common approach of how to use Scrum on a day-to-day basis. In addition to learning the basics of Scrum, you'll also gain insight on how Scrum teams often estimate and plan work. There will be plenty of time for questions. Bring your own examples of Scrum, Scrumban, Scrumfall, Not-Quite-Waterfall, Agilish implementations and let's chat about the experience.
