Utilizing Subject-Oriented Business Process Management (S-BPM)

This interactive workshop introduces and explores subject-oriented business process management (S-BPM), a new and innovative communication-oriented approach for business process management. S-BPM is intended to increase business agility and efficiency, and accelerate the creation of business value for an organization’s stakeholders.
 
Case studies and emerging tools will be examined. Strategies for negotiating the right path and working together to effect change will also be discussed. 

Participants will learn how to:

  1. Improve their business analysis practice utilizing subject-oriented business process management.
  2. Integrate S-BPM into their business analysis process.
  3. Introduce S-BPM into their organizations.
Event Details: 
Dr. Ernest L. Hughes (“Ernie” or “Lincoln”) is CEO and Chief Innovation Officer for HughesGlobal, his consulting and education network focused on helping individuals, teams, and organizations realize their potential and flourish through organizational innovation and change. He is also an Associate Professor of Business with American Public University System and a Lecturer (part-time) with the Institute of Technology at University of Washington Tacoma. Prior to launching his consulting and education network, Hughes enjoyed broad leadership responsibility in a range of organizations for more than 30 years. He was most recently Director of Technical Services for REI. Before joining REI, Hughes was co-founder and CIO for Cascadia College after a fifteen-year technology career with Boeing. Hughes earned an MS in Global Supply Chain Management, a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and a Masters in Software Engineering, an MBA in Organizational Behavior, and a BS in Computer Science. He has training and certifications in a number of specialties, including operational excellence & quality, innovation & entrepreneurship, and organizational change management.
