Format
A CBAP® will facilitate the introductory session of the study group and the wrap-up/review sessions at the end of the study group. All of the other sessions will be facilitated by the study group participants. The study group members can work individually or in teams to prepare materials in PowerPoint and other appropriate formats to use as they facilitate. The VP of Education will provide the study group participants with some slides that outline the key points of each BABOK® section that they can use as a starting point for their facilitation materials. Even when they are not facilitating, every participant should read the material before meeting and be prepared to contribute to the discussion. Study group participants will find that the sections they facilitate will be the sections they learn the most thoroughly, which will prepare them well for the exam. A CBAP® should participate in every study group session, contribute to the conversation, and add insight from their experience and expertise even when they are not facilitating.
